Extran® Automated Cleaning
The various Extran® grades for automated cleaning have been specially developed in close cooperation with leading instrument manufacturers in accordance with their suitability for use in laboratory washing machines. They have been extensively tested to demonstrate their cleaning effectiveness and universal applicability. One of the most important criteria is a very low degree of foam formation. In addition, the excellent water solubility of all the components used prevents residues from remaining on the instruments. Extran® is chlorine-free, it cleans reliably and it fulfils all requirements with respect to biodegradability and phosphate content. Merck’s Extran® product range includes unique cleansing solutions for every conceivable laboratory application.
